World Bank: Russia’s GDP to rise 1.6% in 2020, 1.8% in 2021–2022
WASHINGTON, Jan 9 (PRIME) -- The World Bank expects that Russia’s gross domestic product (GDP) will grow 1.6% in 2020 and 1.8% in 2021–2022, the bank said in a report on Wednesday.
The forecast for 2020 was decreased by 0.2 percentage points comparing to the forecast issued in June, and left unchanged for the two subsequent years.
The World Bank still estimates Russia’s GDP growth in 2019 at 1.2%.
